Palm Press was founded in 1980 by Liz Bordow to acquaint people with the pleasures of fine photography and its unique ability to connect us to the rest of the world. Palm Press publishes a collection of exceptional photographs in a high quality but affordable format and has earned an outstanding reputation for award-winning greeting cards, superior reproduction and excellent customer service.

By bringing Palm Press to the Designer Greetings family, this marks the 12th acquisition since 2006. Edison, NJ— Designer Greetings Inc. announced today that it has acquired Kristin Michaels Greetings.
Kristin Michaels Greetings was established in 1984 as an independent greeting card distributor, wholesaling products from several small studio card manufacturers from Chicago. A few years later, they began distributing Gibson Greetings products, quickly becoming the largest volume Gibson distributor in the US. In 1994, Kristin Michaels started buying product from a greeting card company based in Staten Island and ironically, in 2019, that Staten Island company (Designer Greetings) now has acquired Kristin Michaels.

Edison, NJ— Designer Greetings Inc. has acquired Northern Exposure Greeting Cards from owners Bruce Henson and Jack Freed, who recently announced their plans to retire.
Northern Exposure was founded in 1993 when Henson and Freed, both professional photographers, launched a line of photo-imaged everyday and seasonal greeting cards.

Edison, NJ—Designer Greetings Inc. announced today that it has acquired Seattle-based publisher Madison Park Greetings.
This marks the eighth acquisition for the greeting card company since 2006. Others include: Card$mart®, Glitterwrap™, Red Farm Studio, Royal Greetings, enGreet, Treasure Greetings and Mike’s Distributing.
Founded in 1977, Madison Park Greetings created high-end specialty products, cards and journals, which featured work by a broad range of talented artists.
Steven Gimbelman, President and CEO of Designer Greetings, explained why Madison Park was a great fit for his company. “Designer Greetings has always had a tradition of finding the best contemporary artists and blending their artistic vision with editorial that connects with the end consumer. Madison Park had an identical vision. We plan on introducing many new artists to our collection, adding and keeping to our high standard of using superior treatments, embellishments, and fine paper stock,” he said.
